ISAS Senior Staff Recognized by Professional Organizations

ISAS senior staff were honored with awards during the Midwest Archaeological Conference October 2–4, 2014 in Champaign, Illinois. Dr. Thomas E. Emerson was awarded the Career Achievement Award by the Illinois Archaeological Survey. Dr. Andrew Fortier and Dale McElrath were awarded the Charles J. Bareis Distinguished Service Award for contributions to Illinois archaeology by the Illinois Archaeological Survey.

Dr. Emerson was also awarded the Distinguished Career Award by the Midwest Archaeological Conference. The award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of Midwest archaeology.
